Address: 5825 Main Street, Elkridge
Time: 9am – 2pm
We will start at 9am with coffee and donuts. Around 10:30 there will be a ribbon cutting and Calvin Ball and Liz Walsh will be given an opportunity to speak. Then we will offer lunch.
After lunch there will be a scavenger hunt in the museum. The version for small kids simply involves having parents look at the clues and help them find mugs with paper Brumbaugh Babies in them, and to collect all 10 babies. For older children (13 and over), we want them to find the answers to the questions in the clues. They are all found in our posters and display cases. The first 15 who find all 10 babies will receive $5 Cindy Softserve gift certificates. The first 3 to answer all the questions correctly will win an item in our gift shop of their choice worth $10 or less (coloring book, mug, some of the plates etc).
The cost is free! You can come and go as you like between 9am and 2pm.
Overflow parking is available at Grace Episcopal Church at 5805 Main Street.
We are very proud of our efforts to revamp the downstairs of the Brumbaugh House. I hope you will come see it and that you like it as much as we do. We really need your support, both financially and physically on committees etc. We want to start having monthly yard-work days, for example.
Please come, and we think you will want to be involved when you see it!
