  • Coltons Welcome New Arrival: Keith and Libby Colton welcomed their son, Jack Andrews Colton, to Elkridge.  
  • Chemistry Magic: The Howard County Library is hosting a program where students will perform magic tricks using chemistry.  
  • Elk Ridge Heritage Society News:
    • The Heritage Society is working on improvements to the Brumbaugh House and planning a display at the Elkridge Branch Library.  
    • The newsletter includes a question about Elk Ridge’s history.  
  • Local Teacher Wins Award: Kathleen Parrish, a teacher at Elkridge Landing Middle School, received the Sallie Mae First Class Teacher Award.  
  • Someone Needs a Map: An advertisement for a golf community in Ellicott City incorrectly listed the location; the community is actually in Elkridge.  
  • Harveys Have New Family Member: Kristin and Richard Harvey welcomed a new baby, Morgan Kendall Harvey.

  • Quilters Name St. Augustine’s New Officers: The Elkridge Evening Quilters have elected new officers.  
  • St. Augustine’s Plans Expansion: St. Augustine’s parish is planning for growth and has launched a campaign to fund a new parish meeting center, administrative space, increased parking, and other improvements.  
  • Remembrance of Fr. Hugh Monmonier: A tribute to Fr. Hugh Monmonier, a former weekend assistant at St. Augustine, who passed away.
