The historic (now long gone) inn called the Halfway House was not in Elkridge. It was probably located in Pasadena. However, it is connected to Elkridge people, most particularly the family of Elkridge resident Daniel Murray, who married Mary Dorsey and lived in the Rockburn manor house near Belmont. The Halfway House was an Inn and Tavern in Anne Arundel County on land owned by the the Murray Family.
