- A Quieter Future for Hunt Club: The older section of Hunt Club is eligible for a sound barrier along I-95.
- Maryland 100 Opens-Finally!: Maryland 100 speedway is now open.
- But Not for Lawyers Hill: The State Highway Administration (SHA) has completed its review of the Lawyers Hill area to determine if it meets the requirements for a sound barrier, but it does not.
- How Route 100 Finally Came to Be: The concept of Rt. 100 was developed during studies by the State Highway Administration, and, in 1972-73, it was included in the Howard County General Plan.
- Elkridge Elementary School News:
- Grandparents and Special Persons Day was held on November 16.
- Honor Roll receptions were held November 23.
- The 10th annual Turkey Run was held on November 24.
- Elkridge Landing Middle School: Members of the sixth-grade band and chorus performed a community service project to help Elkridge families.
- History Happened Here-in Elkridge: Students are learning the town’s history at Elkridge Elementary School.
- New Post Office for Elkridge: The US Postal Service has purchased five acres of land in the Route 100 Business Park to build a new Post Office.
- The Elkridge Food Pantry: The Food Pantry is a means of providing food to those in need.
- Deadly Road Still Waiting: Concerns were voiced about the unsafe conditions existing on US 1, north and south of the Elkridge Library.
